Actions to end poverty in Edinburgh
Overview
We’re looking for your views on our actions to end poverty in Edinburgh.
These actions and our targets to end poverty by 2030 were shaped by the Edinburgh Poverty Commission, which published its findings and calls to action in 2020, following extensive engagement with organisations and citizens.
At this midway point, the Edinburgh Poverty Commission are reviewing the progress made in the city towards the 2030 targets.
Why your views matter
We want to hear your views about the actions we’re taking to end poverty in Edinburgh - what’s working well, what are the challenges and barriers, and what do we need to do differently. Your feedback will help shape our actions from 2025 onwards.
This consultation is just one of the ways that we’re using to do this. We’re also planning to hold meetings on key topics and visit projects and services to hear from people directly.
We know that you might be very busy and often asked to give your views, so please feel free to give as much or as little information here as you have time for. You can also write to us directly at EdinburghPovertyCommission@edinburgh.gov.uk.
