Review of polling districts and polling places 2025
Overview
We are currently reviewing the provision of polling districts and polling places serving elections within Edinburgh.
Our last review was undertaken in 2020. Based on feedback, an outcome of that review was to reduce the use of schools as polling places. A report to Council on 10 February 2022 made further changes which ended the use of schools as polling places.
We want to make it easy for you to vote and to remove or reduce any physical barriers you might face.
We looked at the polling arrangements across the city to ensure that they remain appropriate to support our electors and encourage a good turnout. We now have a revised set of polling arrangements and would like your feedback on these changes by taking part in this survey.

Following your feedback, a report with recommendations will be taken to a full Council meeting for consideration later this year.
