Overview

Local Opportunities for Older People (LOOPS) is a citywide partnership initiative delivered by Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations’ Council and Pilmeny Development Project which is funded by City of Edinburgh Council’s Health and Social Care Department.

Our work always focuses on the local

·         Local older people

·         Local services  and activities

·         Local challenges.

As part of the work of the LOOPs we have a role in ‘Strengthening the voice of local older people’ – when we came to think about this one of the first questions we asked ourselves was:

What is a strengthened voice in 2015 ?

Because this wasn’t instantly clear we wanted to reach out to YOU to find out. To do this we put together the following questionnaire but will also be out and about in the community throughout November. We are keen to have one to one conversations with people at these events. Come and tell us what you think!

The consultation will be available until January 1st and can be completed by family, friends, carers or service providers. Please let us know you best ideas and we will report back in the New Year.

We have provided a booklet, which includes more information, please do take a look.
