Firework Control Zone - Balerno
Overview
We are considering putting in place Firework Control Zones in certain communities in Edinburgh.
Members of the Balerno community have requested a Firework Control Zone to be put in place in this area. We would now like your views on this.
A Firework Control Zone will mean that certain fireworks will no longer be permitted to be set off in these areas.
It will also be a crime under the Fireworks and Pyrotechnics Act Scotland 2022, enforceable by law, by which you can be arrested if you set off a firework in a Fireworks Control Zone.

Your response will contribute to the decision-making process.
