Budget Consultation 2021/22 - What’s important to you?

Closed 30 Nov 2020

Opened 1 Sep 2020

Overview

All Council Tenants, whether they get help with their rent or not, should have a say about how money is spent on improving their homes and neighbourhoods and the services they receive.

Listening to what tenants have told us, we’re building 10,000 new affordable homes over 10 years, investing in your homes so that they are modern and energy efficient, improving existing services and delivering new services aimed at cutting your cost of living.

But we know that a happy life doesn’t stop at your front door. Safe, secure stairwells in modern well maintained buildings, well-designed open spaces that encourage residents to be active, socialise and have a sense of pride in their local community are also very important. In addition to this, your ability to easily access affordable shops and services locally and/or regular links to reliable public transport all play a part in the satisfaction you have with your local area and your overall quality of life.

This year we want to know what improvements are most important to you.
