Corstorphine Hill Local Nature Reserve Management Plan (2017-2026)

Closed 3 Feb 2017

Opened 19 Dec 2016

Overview

Corstorphine Hill Local Nature Reserve (LNR) is a prominent feature within Lothian. It is one of the largest urban woodlands in Edinburgh and provides immense habitat value for a range of different species. It is an important site for recreational activities and environmental studies.

Management of such an area is usually guided by a site specific plan. The current plan for Corstorphine Hill LNR has come to an end. An updated plan for the period 2017-2026 has now been prepared and we would welcome your comments on it.
