What happens next

Thank you to everyone who responded to this survey.

This survey will help us to shape the future of our faith collections across Museums and Galleries Edinburgh. We aim to represent the breadth of religious expression in our city today and would love to hear your views on where you think our priorities should lie. This survey will help set priorities for how we will make our faith collections more inclusive and will enable us to take a strategic approach to setting out our priorities and target audiences.

Museums and Galleries Edinburgh will use the results of this survey to try to ascertain what faith items people want to see in our museums, what items can best represent people of faith and how the embodiment of a particular faith can best be communicated within a museum context. These results will be made public on Museums and Galleries Edinburgh’s website.
