Leith Chooses 2024 - 2025

Opens 20 Jan 2025

Closes 3 Feb 2025

Overview

£eith Chooses is a process of democratic deliberation and decision-making in which local people choose how to spend a public budget (participatory budgeting, or ‘PB’).

If you live, work, study or volunteer in Leith please take time to consider the projects, and be sure to vote. You can cast your votes online by clicking on the link in the purple-bordered box below. You can also vote at the in-person event on 18 January at Leith Community Centre from 11am-3pm.

Grants of up to £5,000 will be awarded from a total of £47,737. These grants are for small, one-off projects that meet urgent needs and progress local priorities.

The projects address this year’s theme, Leith Uniting.

Voting is open from 20 January until the end of 3 February 2024. You can review the projects here.

This activity will open on 20 Jan 2025. Please come back on or after this date to give us your views.
