Student Accommodation Non-Statutory Planning Guidance
Overview
The draft guidance has been prepared to support development plan policy dealing with purpose built student accommodation (PBSA). It sets out the Council’s expectations and provides guidance for developers and planning officers. When approved in its final form it will be used by the Council in the assessment of planing applications.
Why your views matter
The guidance seeks to ensure the provision of good quality PBSA in appropriate locations whilst protecting the character of existing areas. We want the guidance to help people understand what we require from the development of purpose built student accommodation. To do this, we want to make sure the content is clear, helpful, and balanced.
You can read the full draft guidance as a PDF at the bottom of this page in "Related Documents".
