Overview

The Council is responsible for the conservation and management of built heritage in the City including the designation of conservation areas as areas of special architectural or historic interest. 

In recognition of Restalrig’s historic and architectural interest, we are proposing its  designation as a conservation area.  The designation would support the conservation and enhancement of the village’s character and apperarance.

We are seeking the views of all those who have an interest in Restalrig.  The consultation will help us understand the level of support for the designation of Restalrig as a conservation area.
