Community Safety and Anti Social Behaviour Strategy 2023 - 2028
Overview
Under the Antisocial Behaviour Act, every local authority must prepare, publish and review a strategy for dealing with antisocial behaviour in their council area.
The Antisocial Behaviour Strategy is produced by The Edinburgh Community Safety and Justice Partnership which is made up of Elected Members, staff from the City of Edinburgh Council, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, NHS Lothian, Voluntary Sector, Scottish Prison Service, and other organisations.
The Partnership has launched its survey on Community Safety across the City, to find out how residents feel about antisocial behaviour and crime within their communities. The feedback will help to shape the strategy.
Why your views matter
Your views and experiences are a very important part of our understanding of perceptions of crime and Anti-Social Behaviour in your neighbourhood and will help us not only to understand local issues but to make recommendations about steps that might be taken to work towards a resolution of these issues. Without your feedback, it would be more difficult for us to understand some of these trends and the impacts that this might have had where you stay, work or visit.
