A new Newcraighall Primary School, which will replace the existing Newcraighall Primary School, is currently being developed on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council.
The following information responds to the Planning Regulation requirements for major planning applications; to engage in a consultation period prior to formal submission of the planning application.
This PAN application consultation period will aim to share with the local community the progress on work carried out to date, the rationale behind initial design concepts and how the impact on the surrounding area has been considered.
With an open approach and desire to create a two-way dialogue, we invite comment and seek feedback from all those interested in and affected by this project. Please give us your views on the proposals by completing the online survey below or e-mailing comments to newcraighallschool@edinburgh.gov.uk.
Alternatively, you can visit one of our public drop-in sessions at the existing Newcraighall Primary School between 2.00 and 4.00pm on Friday 24th February or between 6.00 and 8.00pm on Tuesday 14th March.
If you are unable to attend one of our sessions a digital representation of our current plans can be found here:
An information event displaying the latest PAN Application plans for the proposed school with an opportunity to discuss these with representatives from the architects and the City of Edinburgh Council. This is a drop-in event, held at Newcraighall Primary School and the public can attend at any time between 2.00 and 4.00pm.
