EIJB Citizen Representative Recruitment

Closed 25 Sep 2019

Opened 17 Jul 2019

Overview

Do you want to be part of shaping Health and Social Care Services in Edinburgh?

The Edinburgh Integration Joint Board (EIJB) was established on 1 April 2016 and is responsible for the strategic planning and commissioning of health and social care services in Edinburgh and for issuing directions to the City of Edinburgh Council and NHS Lothian for the delivery of these services.

Have you had experience of using health or social care services ?

The EIJB is looking to recruit two citizens representatives and we want to hear from people who have had experience of using health, social care or both health and social care services.

The role of a citizen representative will be to provide a service user perspective to the work of the EIJB in planning the future of health and social care services in Edinburgh and make sure that the voice of users of health and social care services is heard in all aspects of service planning and delivery.

If you believe you have the experience, energy and enthusiasm to help shape health and social care services in Edinburgh, we would like to hear from you.

The recruitment pack for the role can be found below.

You can complete the expression of interest form. You can also download the form below or contact Angela Ritchie on 0131 529 4050 or email EHSCP@edinburgh.gov.uk for a copy to be sent to you.
