Overview
This consultation gives people the opportunity to express their views about proposed designs for cycling and walking improvements along a route from Niddrie to Roslin.
The project will involve design changes to Gilmerton Road, Niddrie House Road, and Hay Avenue.
The route, called QuietRoute 61, will form part of the QuietRoutes Network that is being implemented across Edinburgh. The aim of the network is to provide routes that are easy, safe and convenient to use by people of any level of cycle experience. It will also improve conditions for people walking.
Why your views matter
The Council needs to understand and consider all the needs and views expressed by people regarding the re-design of the streets.
We will use the comments to develop an optimum design that improves the street for walking and cycling.
