Opened 7 Oct 2019

Overview

The Council is consulting on its proposal to construct a pedestrian / cycle bridge over the Union Canal at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena (EICA), Ratho, to provide a direct and accessible link with the proposed Wavegarden surfing centre and country park opposite. The plans will also include a connecting ramp between the Canal towpath, which is part of the National Cycling Network, and the new bridge.
