The City of Edinburgh Council is consulting on proposals to close Panmure St Ann’s Special School at the end of June 2017 . Any remaining pupils on the school roll would be given places at other schools within Edinburgh.

Early next year the Council intends to submit a planning application for a new sports centre to replace the existing Meadowbank Stadium and Sports Centre. Each year the Council engages citizens on its spending and savings plans for the year ahead. In the previous two years almost 8000 individuals participated in the Council’s budget challenge and told us where spending and savings should be prioritised. This feedback was used to set the four year financial plan for Edinburgh.
